Meditation in

Sacred Community

DeCorazon (Heart) Connection is a weekly meditation facilitated by DeAlmas Founder, Gloria Rodriguez.

Created during the height of the Pandemic, Gloria created a space for women to connect and support each other in the midst of all the fear, anxiety, overwhelm, stress, depression impacting our mental, emotional, and physical health.

Four years later, DeCorazones is going strong!

We host 30-minute meditation groups every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday through conference call. Meditation topics vary and reflect our needs and the state of the world.

How to Prepare

for the Meditation

All you need is your presence, an open heart, and silence. No special equipment required.

Here are some things to keep in mind:

Create a quiet space.

Mute your phone and silence distractions. Invitation to tell folks you won't be able for 30-minutes, if needed.

Get comfy.

Sit in a comfortable chair with good cushion so you can sit up comfortable.

Set yourself up for success.

Have water nearby. Use the restroom before the meditation. Invitation to tell folks you won't be available for 30-minutes, if needed.

Add your flavor.

Invitation to add what what would nourish your spirit. Burn a candle or incense. Keep essential oils or crystals nearby. Anything that would help you ground before, during, and after the meditation.

Loving Agreements

Since Spring 2020, DeCorazon has been a safe space for feeling, healing, grounding, and powerful sisterhood.

One of the ways we continue to foster this environment is by committing to "Loving Agreements" so everyone can have a safe and rejuvenating experience. â€‹

When you do join a DeCorazon Meditation, we ask you please agree to:

1. Sit in quietude.

Be present. Respect Sacred Silence & Sisterhood.

2. Be on time.

The portal to join the call will close at 8:05 AM.

3. Mute your phone and participate from a quiet place.

Busy background noises of any kind are disruptive, distracting and detract from the intentional choice and experience of others.

4. Do not share access code

without checking in with Gloria Rodriguez first (contact us below).
